Asia 2005 -- We awoke the next morning to learn that all the local trains, taxis, buses, and roads we closed around our hotel. We had to walk through the debris to the next town to catch a city bus to the train station where we somehow made it in time to catch the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto.
